When I went to Plast – Ukrainian-American scout camp in East Chatham, NY – as a kid, practically everyone claimed they were related to an NHL player. Steve Konowalchuk was always the second most popular name to mention after Keith Tkachuck. Kono was as old school of a captain as it gets.
