  1. @;59 is exactly what we are still dealing with today as black people because white people know in a fair world they would be at the bottom and black people will be at the top.

  2. Joe Louise in my opinion was the number 1 heavy of all time, one need not look further than his record. 2 and 3 are either Marciano or Ali.

  3. My Money would be on Johnson in this match.
The only guys i see with a shot to beat Johnson are as follows
    Ali
    Liston
    Foreman
MAYBE MAYBE Holifield, a Young 21 yr old Tyson and Maybe Dempsey
Johnson is a Top 5 or 6 all time champ zero doubt.
Way before his time a shame anyone was treated like him

  4. Seems to me white folks are very timid & fragile when Blacks have power! Can we say SNOWFLAKES!😉

  5. I think Johnson would have beaten Lewis in his prime very easily. Jack went the distance with most of the fighters he fought to make it look good. Remember Jack Johnson knock out a bull in the ring with 1 punch when he was trick in to a fight with another white boxer but instead was forced to fight a bull and he knock the bull out maybe killing it with the punch. I never heard of another man knocking out a bull since then so there's no way I can see any heavy weight fighter beating Johnson if he's not holding back. Jack Johnson held back on his power in most if not all his fights. He's the greatest by far in my book.

  6. All these guys seem to do is portray all the white people as hateful but don't seem to notice Jack Johnson was not murdered he died in 40s from a accident seems that Jack lived the way he wanted right up till the end.

  7. In my opinion, Jack Johnson was the greatest! he enjoyed great success in an era where a black man could be lynched just for looking at a white woman, the jim crow era if you will, yet he didn't care. he married white woman, took them across state line in violation of the bullshit Man act……and did it flashing that big smile. he had balls the size of Texas…. big fan of his…..

  8. That was the greatest smile i have ever seen in my life . I am being totally serious here , in fact that was the greatest smile since Happy Harry Harrison , the worlds happiest man discovered he won the world smiling contest in Happy Valley , Happyburg viginia .

  9. Joe Louis would have beaten Jack Johnson.
Johnson fought nobody who had the speed, quickness, power, technique and stamina That Louis brought in the ring.
Louis would of been the aggressor, His jab alone would of scored enough to win his power punching on a stationary or next to it opponent would of been quick victory, Johnson would of leaned back, lunged his jabs and tried to uppercut on the inside, he had no power and had not one boxing move that louis couldn't have defended or countered with ease.
I've never read that Louis' trainer or anyone in his team said Johnson would have beat Louis, I know Blackburn hated Johnson.

  10. Joe was was a much better fighter than Johnson. Possibly the greatest who ever lived .
Johnson typically fought much smaller men .He had been knocked out previously in his career and after watching some of his fights he had a suspect chin. After watching films he probably was even the best black fighter during the time he reigned. He refused to fight the top black fighters 1910-15.
He might have been 5 years earlier but those fights are difficult to find on film.
I understand he is popular almost mythological because he was so unconventional he certainly was good in his day but I have a lot of trouble with him defending Lewis’s left.

  11. He was good… But.. Was beaten by Jess Willard… Easily.. Jack Dempsey beat Jess so bad it would have been stopped in the first round, by today's rules… Jack Dempsey was the baddest of them all..

  12. " Joe Louis in every way was being ''trained'' to act white" NO that's not true, that's stupid! Joe Louis was a completely different character he was just being Joe Louis at a time after the after effects of Jack Johnson's memory. No matter what the white people in authority wanted , Joe was just a different person, and a gentle quieter man.

  13. If Jack Johnson fought Joe Louis he would end up like John Henry Lewis in the first round.
The competition Johnson fought was no where near the competition Louis fought over his near 12 year reign.

  14. wtf how can you even think about comparing them? jack johnson was good for his era but joe louis was on another level this is ridiculous… joe louis vs jack johnson would be the easiest fight ever for joe louis, you got to have 0 boxing knowledge to think otherwise
