[Batchelor] Quinn Hughes: In our org, all are welcome. Every time we do pride night, Ive worn the jersey and celebrated the night…we look forward to it. We’ve worn it since Ive been here. Even the canada year when there were no fans here. I think it’s a great night, and I’m glad we’re doing it.

serious question, I wonder if our Russian players will wear them?

I’d truly be happy with Petey or Huggy wearing the C in the future (or wearing A’s and splitting the captains duties) but the more I hear Hughes speak, and his teammates speak about him, he seems like captain material.

I remember in the off-season, he said on 32 Thoughts that he really wanted to step in to a leadership role, and I think him and Petey have done that seamlessly while upping their respective games. Really, really impressive.

had no doubts about huggy bear but it’s really nice to hear this regardless <3

also I have to assume this means there are jerseys, unless the organization is utterly stupid

And the fucking haters and cowards would not dare to show up and protest like they do elsewhere that’s because those fucking miscreants would end up being laughed at others will just shake thier heads in disgust

Spoken like a captain. On another note I want to see Kuz come out in a full rainbow wig too just to stick it to the other organizations that used the Russians as an excuse.

I’m glad that Hughes is getting a little more comfortable speaking up and setting the pace.
