Lightning playoff ready!
Tampa is washed up. You’re time is done. Watch and see this first round.
The lightning are back in form. Defense might not be great but they can shut it down in the 3rd period, Vasilevskiy is dialed in, and the offense is still potent. It’s only been 2 games but it shows the lightning can still turn it on when they need to.
Good game, Washington! Kuemper honestly played pretty well despite the score. I felt a little bad for him that he made a great save before the the 1st period ended but a couple seconds later had a faceoff go against him.
This is my first experience with a full regular season hockey. I don't understand how the Lightning can play so poorly for like a month and then turn it on like that… Moreover, I don't fully understand why. Is it for seeding purposes? The NHL Draft? I think the NHL does 1v2, 3v4, 5v6, etc. but I'm not sure. Other tourney/playoff brackets pit the best versus the worst, like 1v8, 2v7, 3v6, and 4v5.
