Some Finnish hockey from early 2000's for y'all. Quite a similar incident that came to my mind immediately.
Willman at the end: "Well, we dropped the gloves. There was some rough action earlier during the shift and we kinda got tangled together. Both asked each other you wanna go, so we went at it."
The fact that he jumped on the ice after the hit on his teamste to do this is even more savage flyers were six on the ice because he jumped on the ice to beat up watson lol
Nah, just a typical scrap. Kasty gave the best single punch then DesLo swung a bunch to the back of his helmet and won with the take-down. Then words and nothing much with Watson. Of course I'm comparing to real savage games like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ytcwTwB7Bo
Lol forgot to mention debrincat 5â7â destroying farabee, not to mention Watson is not a good fighter hardly wins any fight, also the gloves werenât even dropped with kastelic had the refs allowed that fight it wouldâve ended completely different. The highlight was debrincats fight no doubt.
Watson is a punching bag and Mark Kastelic isn't all that. Tanner Jeannot handled him just fine. I think Deslauriers standing and fighting Reaves to the end was more impressive, but Reaves never was the toughest guy in the NHL.
I'm sorry but this is absolute kindergarten stuff compared to the '70s, '80s and '90s. Look up Nordiques vs Canadiens Apr 20, 1984 Good Friday Massacre if you wanna see some real rough stuff.
Kastelic and Deslauriers did not have a fight bud. It was a fun moment though. Austin Watson took up the fight since Ottawa's best fighter is their captain and shouldn't waste his time or risk getting injured fighting a tough guy like Deslauriers. That being said, Deslauriers is super tough and a seasoned fighter. Great game!
far from first to do this. but the nhl detests fights and are doing their best to slowly phase them out without upsetting the fan base. which would be the death of north american hockey. you may as well just watch european hockey at that point.

Is this the most savage thing youâve seen? let me know below đđŒ
I thought tiny little Debrincat starting a fight was more savage than that
I'm still itching for another 'Mike Millbury hits a fan with his own shoe' moment.

I think the use of savage in this day of age is the dumbest thing in history.
This is savage but debrincat winning a fight and then scoring the ot winner is also something you shouldnât sleep on
Was at the game, it was a wild moment

Stupid commentary, itâs all on the refs
