100 goals and a Stars record for Robo!

Dallas Stars forward Jason Robertson scored his 100th NHL career goal and set a new Stars record for most points in a season, surpassing Mike Modano’s previous record of 93 points. Robertson achieved this milestone by ripping a shot past Coyotes goaltender Karel Vejmelka, giving the Stars a 3-2 lead.

  1. He is in my opinion the most fundamentally sound player, not super flashy, not the best forechecker, not the fastest, but oddly enough one of the smartest plus that wrister is a beam

  2. Jason Robertson is a player I look up too and admire! Love his game & beauty of a shot! For him to pass Mike Modano’s milestone is remarkable! So much more magic to come from this kid! Glad he’s in Dallas! Go Stars!💚🤍

  3. Robertson's record is ONLY since the franchise moved from Minnesota in 1993, when Mike Modano posted his second-consecutive 93 point season in 1993-94, after the move to Dallas. He still has a ways to go to actually obtain the true franchise scoring record, which he could possibly do, but it seems unlikely this year. Here is the ACTUAL top scoring seasons in the Minnesota/Dallas (North) Stars' franchise history:

    1 – Bobby Smith – 114 Points (1981-82)
    2 – Dino Ciccarelli – 106 Points (1981-82)
    3 – Neal Broten – 105 Points (1985-86)
    4 – Dino Ciccarelli – 103 Points (1986-87)
    5 – Brian Bellows – 99 Points (1989-90)
    6 – Neal Broten – 98 Points (1981-82)
    T7 – Tim Young – 95 Points (1976-77)

    – Jason Robertson – 95 Points (2022-23)
    T9 – Al MacAdam – 93 Points (1979-80)
    – Bobby Smith – 93 Points (1980-81)
    – Mike Modano – 93 Points (1992-93)
    – Mike Modano – 93 Points (1993-94)
