  1. this might have been the most one sided ass fucking ive seen as a fan, those poor fans who paid money to watch that

its also clear that we are more than a top 5 pick and PLD away from going back to contention

  2. Patterik

Seemed like a blue jersey night, better to not even joke about it I guess.

  3. douce_abeille

This has to be one of the worst game of the season😬 Oh well it’s okay because Habs will play vs. AHL teams in the last 2 games. Caps are not doing good right now and who knows with Detroit and Toronto. These last 5 games are very important. Plus Arizona don’t want to win anymore- they’re on a 6 game losing streak. We have to secured that bottom 5 finish.

  4. sean_psc

One of the best things about this season has been the relative lack of games like this compared to last year.

Anyway, that was bad and boring. Moving on.

  5. CheetahLynx83

    That… was brutal.

We tied the Lightning for fewer shots in a game this season (I believe).

  6. Two teams at opposite ends of the standings.

Why would we expect anything different than what the scoreboard indicated tonight?

  7. cjackc11

I couldn’t watch tonight but wait is that 50-14 shot difference real or a typo that’s insane

    Monty actually played phenomenal then

  8. TooPlaid

At least Monty got to pad his stats a bit. Feels like the opposite of many games where the team has looked better than this but the score has been worse

  9. RandyMarsh32

On the bright side, Montembeault looked good.

  10. Monty saved a lot tonight, I will give him credit.

  11. whogivesashirtdotca

Sounds like Armia’s been dealing with long COVID.

  12. superjsun

Sooo the Canes outshot our cumulative game total in each of the three periods? Big oof.

  13. Kidhendri16

Disgraceful. For a “puck possession” team they gave the puck away a lot. Carolina had very little takeaways, we just gave it away and turned it over all night.

  14. Longshanks123

One positive note, the Hurricanes are an example of how you can build an extremely effective team without real superstars. No one on that team is a PPG player this year and no one has 35 goals. They just have a lot of depth and play a 200 foot team game.

  15. Great screen by Gurianov on Skej’s goal. Wished he’d to the same when we’re on offense. God knows he can’t do much else.

  16. Brooo what the fuck, the bruins are on pace to break our record???? They MUST be stopped

  17. jimhabfan

I watched the canes score their first goal on a pick play like the goal the leafs scored against the bolts in game 7 last year. Except the leafs goal got waved off for interference and they ended up getting a penalty instead. I guess what I’m saying is fuck the refs.

  18. KantanaBrigantei

That was the second horrid game in a row. Time to wrap up this season.

Are we picking fifth or sixth?

  19. Quasihodor

I know when they broadcaster quoted MSL “we’re sprinting toward the finish line, not coasting” it was not going to be a good time

  20. Quebecitude

How was KK? Saw his hit which Ifelt was careless.
