Glad to see Shaw effectively checking the right way. He was leaving his feet out of control head hunting early this year. No need for penalties when it can be done the right way.

I couldn’t agree more, enjoy the run as hockey is after all, an escape from reality. It is of course so much better with a top club and players to watch. This year for me it’s been the pipeline development knowing we are going to be great down the road and for years to come. The team transforming itself from a run and gun last years club to a structured game with the departure of Fiala. Guerin was able to do this while adding top prospects for a player we couldn’t afford, genius.
The play of Gusty becoming a top goalie and of course, my favorite player 97. Watching Kaprisov on a nightly basis is a treat, our 1st superstar, but, maybe a second star in the making with Boldy??? Now isn’t that exciting and something to ponder…Lastly some unsung hero’s, Ek, last 18 games, minus in only two games. Against colorado, +3 while McKinnon, Rantinen and Makar all -3. Brodin, the most underrated D in the league, Shaw coming in and never allowing Evason a chance to send him back to Iowa after 3 knee surgeries. Last one, steady Freddy – Mr. Shootout…I could go on and on, Reaves, Johansson, the little big guy Spurgeon etc……just enjoy the game 😎
