Remember about 5 minutes ago when we were all in agreement that Sandin & Lili were like destined to become our next great defensive pairing for years to come and we needed to lock them both down???
I would. I've always thought the Leafs have a good second line d filling in as a first line. I believe all Toronto D have been playing roles on any other team would be a line below. on any other team Reilly would be second line d.
I absolutely agree with this Steve he looks like a rookie out there, he's not playing to his capabilities he's missing wide open passes and just looks super nervous all the time he's a pretty good stick handler and seems like he can't even do that right now
Leafs will never win a cup when you have Reilly on your roster as your number 1 guy. Should be Lilly on the 1st powerplay. Reilly doesn't do anything but place ill timed shots and slow as molasses passes to everyone else. At least Liljegren shoots the puck and hits the net and makes hard accurate passes. If you ditched Reilly you could have kept sandin too
