in the words of Game of Thornes, Fok the Kings

Great defensive game from both sides. It’s unfortunate that on game #400, Tanev has a bad turnover. The magic number is still 4, right?

  3. RadioDaze9

Tough loss, but not the end of the world. Tanev getting pickpocketed in our own zone was the difference. 4 of our last 7 are against the Coyotes and Blackhawks so grabbing some wins there should help lock up a playoff spot

Way too many turnovers. Way too many bad passes.

Oh well, off to watch F1 then… Anyone else watching the race? 🏁🏎💨

  5. M-Houndoom2

That was frustrating. Now I miss Burky even more.

  6. BlackSnowMarine

What a far cry this team has become from being 1st at the ASB. Wildcard it is.

  7. Go_Hawks12

Still nervous about the Flames and Preds.

I didn’t expect a lot from that game.

We are competing with the Jets, Preds, and Flames for a playoff berth.

5 wins guarantees entry assuming they all win out.

Fortunately it’s impossible for all of them to win out as there are 3 matches that include them playing one another in some form, meanwhile we don’t have to play any of them.

5 is currently that magic number, but 3 or 4 will likely get the job done.

The next 5 games are Arizona x3, Chicago, and Vancouver. With some grit we should be able to pull off 3 to 5 wins over the next 5 games.

I would like to clinch a spot before facing Vegas, so root against the 3 previously mentioned teams as hard as you can. Especially Nashville and Winnipeg as they have the slight upper hand.

  9. Saying the offense has fallen off a cliff since the break is an understatement. This team is just sleep walking their way into at best a sweep out of the playoffs.

Bummer for us. LA’s goalie was really damn good and honestly a lot of fun to watch. Jones did pretty well too. Oh well, we’ll keep trying and see what happens. It wasn’t a blowout or Shitty–I mean Shinny Hockey, so I’m okay with it, but hopefully we win next time

  11. M’s wins and losses line up with Kraken outcomes perfectly since the start of the Kraken season dating back to the last M’s playoff game. Spooky.

Was there in the nosebleeds tonight and Tanev is my favorite player on the team. I felt so bad for the dude getting robbed in our own zone. It was a great play by the Kings.

I’d just wish I could say, We’re with you. Shit happens. Bounce back and focus hard on the next games. Congrats on 400, you got a ways to go!

Wasnt expecting us to win, so I’m not gonna lose much sleep over this game. Still a pretty solid performance against a Kings team who is currently one of the best in the western conference. Let’s just be ready for Arizona when they come in on monday.
