Our boys, despite a season full of injuries including key pieces to the defense are still tops in the west in GA and T-3rd in the league (Boston 166, Carolina 197 and Tied with Rangers.) With the playoffs literally right around the corner that should bode well for another deep run and to keep Lord Stanley in the Mile High City. IMO, I think this years team can beat anyone in a race to 4 IF everyone stays healthy.
McDavid may score 170 points or whatever he’s on pace for, but that doesn’t matter if you can’t stop the other team. With our defense playing in front of King George… we are a very, VERY scary team come playoff time.

My wife is a Rangers fan and when the Avs announced Georgie I was thrilled about it. That dude was really good in NY he was just not Shesterkin good. I hate to be the type of guy that says atoadaso but atoadaso, I fuckin atoadaso!
Didn’t Makar basically pocket McDavid when we swept the Oilers? He may be good at scoring against peasants, but fails miserably when placed against our leafy-green mayo-chicken boy wonder…
It’s definitely promising, but a tad misleading.
Not to be that guy, but the Avs have played fewer games than some of the other teams (namely Minny, and Dallas) so GA will be comparable.
