    Bahl has been steady. Glad heโ€™s settled in. Heโ€™s a big big boy we need for playoffs.

    I’m so so curious what they are going to do with Luke when he gets here. It’s unfortunate timing with the NCAA tournament that he’d only get the chance to play one or two regular season games before the playoffs, and at that point are you comfortable putting him in a playoff game? If so who are you taking out? I feel like right now the Devils have a very clear top six defensemen. Maybe Luke is just around the team but doesn’t really play unless there is an injury or it’s not going well and Lindy wants to shake the lineup up. Will be interesting.

    Dougie gets semi-sheltered minutes anyways so I donโ€™t mind Bahl, whoโ€™s been great in sheltered minutes so far, getting time with him. Stylistically they might work well, and statistically, Bahlโ€™s actually been Dougies best partner, albeit in a tiny sample size.

    I would, however much rather see a Siegs-Marino shutdown pairing instead of Graves-Marino. Siegs is the much better defender and if weโ€™re using that pair as a total shutdown, play against top competition pairing, I think Siegs-Marino makes the most sense. Then Graves-Severson can really feast on the bottom.

    Weโ€™ll deserved for Bahl. Heโ€™s been playing really well lately and guys like Seigenthaler need a bit of wake up

    I have to give Bahl credit. I called this man out early on, but for a while now I’ve only had good things to note about his play. He’s really improved his play as the season’s progressed.

    Whereโ€™s the guy who was arguing with me last month that Bahl is a 7th defenseman and if we need him to be in the top four weโ€™re in trouble?
