Happy that both of them are doing well, hope Bert gets himself a ring!

Really stings to see Vrana with 12 points in 15 games. Wish it was with us.

I hate that I have a reason to root for Boston

alright boys, lets hyper analyze this photo. It looks like vrana isnt even looking at him, which tells me he actually fucking hates bertuzzi. Yet, he’s on his side of center, which makes him a beta, compared to the alpha stance of tyler bertuzzi. of course, this is all assuming bertuzzi is a good guy, because if he’s a bad guy that means that vrana is actually a GOOD GUY, which would be a tremendous bit of news in the vrana-sphere

  4. How has Bert looked with the B’s? I haven’t been following very closely this year

So glad to see Vrana doing good in St. Louis

Blues fan coming in peace. Really glad with the Vrana trade. Just treat Perron the absolute best he’s a gem

God the vrana trade still fucks with me

I miss Vrana, good riddance for Bert

  9. My irrational side still thinks we’ll bring Bert home. I may have Stockholm syndrome.

I hope we see Bert come back our way. Maybe he wins a cup in Boston and brings back some playoff experience.

Both of these trades still mess me up

    Yerzerplan doesn’t include scoring goals.

Certainly something I didn’t expect either

9 goals in 15 games for Vrana. He must have slapped Stevie’s mom or something…

I’ve been on the “Trade Bert” train for two seasons now. The vax thing set me off, was a shitty move. But in the end all it did was take off the rose tinted goggles. Always injured, has back surgery, not a great skater, not a great passer (so many passes to nothing). We love him because he has a scoring touch (but not the elite scorer we need) and grit. How long will that grit last? How long will he be fighting puck battles in corners? People love to yell “dirty areas” whenever his name comes up – but how long will he do that as he gets to his 30s, with years of injuries and surgeries under his belt? He’s not going to age gracefully and be a factor when we get to our window. Let him fight for a cup elsewhere while he’s got gas in the tank, I don’t think he’s a guy who will be scoring 20+ goals in his 30s.

Vrana on the other hand – it feels like we waited years to see if he can consistently perform to the level we’ve seen glimpses of. After 2 seasons of being barely ever there – I get it. But at the beginning of the season I had sky high hopes. He missed most of last season, but he came back strong. If I knew he’d be traded this year, I’d be hoping we at least got a haul for him. Really disappointing how that all went down – but that’s the business. But August me – he’d be a mad guy seeing this.
