Same lol. That’s why you gotta get a side hustle like me.

  2. Elegant_Plenty_2933

They are not authentic. But jerseyhouse.ca has better prices.
It may be a sale, but non named jerseys are up for 66 bucks US right now

I can afford max 1 or 2 jerseys within a year, however, I’ve purchased two, one was a Zuccarello jersey, and one for a very good friend, which I gifted him a reverse retro Panarin jersey. This cost me quite a lot, I don’t plan on buying any more jerseys in a long time..

Edit: Seems like my English isn’t very good. I meant I’m not planning to buy 2 jerseys a year, I meant that with my overall budget I made up last time I bought the 2 jerseys, I could afford around 2 a year. Sorry for any misunderstanding caused.

True story. I had a Christmas gift from family, it was a custom jersey with my name on it and my number.

It was a group gift (6 people). It was awesome but man, they are expensive.

Totally agree. Obviously people can spend money how ever they want but I think it’s ridiculous how much money the average person spends on things like sports jerseys.

  6. Just bought my first official jersey – at almost $400 all in (CAD) it will likely be my last too.

I’m not paying $300+ for a shirt that I will only wear to a game that I cannot afford to buy tickets for.

Its just not a good buy to me. No thanks. That’s coming from someone that ONLY watches hockey, lives in the GTA and plays the sport. The idea people buy these – or more than 1! is crazy to me.

Its like the multiple Magic sets bit on the office.

I’ve had a future on Edmonton to win the cup and I was thinking if they win I’ll buy a jersey but now that I look at it the winnings wouldn’t even cover the cost lol

  9. HOT TIP OP: DHgate.com. Like $20 for high quality jerseys. You can even get classics like the Nordiques and the Whale.

Would love a NHL jersey but couldn’t warrant spending £200 on one. The fanatics ones I could but from reading on here, I wouldn’t due to the poor quality of them.

I bought a $50 knock-off named jersey and I couldn’t be happier. I’m sure it doesn’t look as good as the $300 ones but it works for me. Support the team and support your financial health!

$304 for my Artemi Panarin jersey at MSG

  13. HolidayInPerdition

I just bought a blank period correct official reebok jersey and took it to a local shop that actually makes jerseys for the Penguins to have a name and numbers put on it for Miroslav Satan. Still cheaper than just buying an actual jersey lol

It’s good not having to worry about your bank account every month.

  15. Great_Seaweed500

If it weren’t for DHgate I’d have zero jerseys

  16. My years of giving money to NHL millionaires is over.

I’ve definitely splurged on jerseys, but if you search for the right deals, you can find the right stuff. A few years ago, they were selling King’s jerseys at Ross in the States for 10.00. Not everyone’s cup of tea of course, but patience can be rewarding in buying jerseys.

  18. AndyJaeven

I’m still rocking my 03-04 MN Wild alternate jersey.

  19. Well since Fanatics is taking over we can’t either because to have a jersey now we will need to buy one weekly to be able to wear it

  20. Seth-The-God

I have a fanatics jersey and I’ve never had a problem with it

  21. superdalebot

I shamelessly buy mine from DH gate. Two draisaitl jerseys that i can watch the game and eat chilli without fear.

  22. Recrem86

same, been a Avs fans since their first season in Denver, never had one of their jerseys, closes was this xmas when they went on a box day sale, but by the time i went looking for one all they has was a small in womens, and i’m not a women or a small

  23. thaMagicConch

Buy fake jerseys. Unless you really care about the quality, just get a knock off. I have ten or twelve jerseys and all were around 40-50 bucks. Ypu can barely tell the difference, and even if you can….who gives a shit lol.
