I try to keep things in perspective when a game like tonight happens. Like how spoiled we are as fans to have gone to the finals 3 years straight and won twice. We are so used to winning that a loss 6-3 seems like a travesty.
Vasy had a stinker of a game and we got eaten up by giving bad breaks and turnovers. Hell, even that bit about vasy probably needs to be put in perspective since really he just had a slow start…
Very typical of this team to come out the gate late after a long break. If they started on time they could have won, but best to just try to sharpen up before the Leafs.

Just the start we didn’t need, and a not-very-cat performance in net. The difference in games this time of year gets smaller and you can’t be flat out of the gate. Shouldn’t need to be reminded of that this late in the year, but OFW.
