I was waiting to see what would come of this–this could kill hockey in AZ
I live in Scottsdale. A lot of hockey fans here from Canada, Chicago, Midwest etc. TSH dude is out of his element here. Phoenix lawsuit to Tempe is a total loser. They just don't want the competition. The cites are next to each other.
Sky Harbor representatives, at the Tempe council meeting in November, admitted that it had no legitimate claim against the TED with respect to airport noise. Phoenix just wants out of the IGA and is leveraging the situation to do just that. Phoenix did the same thing with the Cardinals back in the late 90s. Read the IGA. It's long, but not complicated.
