[Friedman] Hearing Luke Hughes will join NJ this weekend in Boston. Not sure on when he’ll play, but he’s going to immediately acclimate himself with the team.

If nothing else I’m sure jacks gonna be fired up to try and break 100pts this season even more so with Luke there.

If we rest guys we may run 7 d or something to get Luke some shifts too

Watching Jack and Luke is going to be magical

I hope Quinn enjoys the family watch parties

Is there any issues with him starting this season regarding how it would affect his service time and free agency? Not sure if hockey has those rules like baseball when things like the clock starts.

  4. He is about to fuck around and win the Conn Smythe.

The rest of the league, “This is getting out of hand. Now there are two of them!”

I demand happy brothers content when he and Jack are reunited. I’ve said it before, but how cool must it be to be at the top of your sport and now your brother gets to be your teammate?

I dont even care if he doesn’t play. I haven’t been this excited for the playoffs since we went on that streak before the end of the 2012 season.

And to think Nemec is still in the system. The future is bright

This keeps getting down voted to oblivion but the dude is not ready for a real, first team role and I worry that fan expectations are setting him up for failure. He needs a lot of work on his defensive game. Dude will be a superstar, I’m sure, but that time is not now.

So we’re nearing the end of the outdated “Hughes” jersey. Officially going to have to be “J. Hughes” & “L. Hughes” jerseys.

Jack gets his 100th point with the assist on Luke’s first NHL goal

  12. Him in a sheltered 3rd pair role could unlock a new level of offense for the third line. Especially with Siegenthaler being kinda meh for awhile, if Bahl meshes with Hamilton, there’s a place for Luke in the playoffs even if his defense is questionable at best

So I’m pretty green how it all works but is he done going to college now or is he still going to college?
