  1. It was a win all along it was just a dumb trade based on where we were in the standings and the quality of this draft

  2. 1) Franchise Goalie (27) check
    2) Franchise Defenseman (23) check
    3) Franchise Center (24) check

Trade to get a legit top 4 RHD that EVERYONE has been calling for………

Canucks fans * this team sucks blow it up and rebuild* So sick of the stupidity.

  3. Canucks need to build their prospect pool and having two picks in this years draft, which is considered a very deep draft is a mistake.

Hronek is a good player, with that being said Canucks are just digging themselves deeper in salary cap hell. Canucks are already over the cap for next season and are already committing anywhere fro 6 to 7.5 million dollars to Hronek , lets not forget Pettersson contract is up next year too.

Canucks should be committing to a rebuild but the owner isn't interested in that. If the canucks do make the playoffs it will be round 1 exit so how are they better?

  4. Theoretically, every year you get a first round pick. Solid RHD that are young, are harder to come by. He will Fil a solid role for y'all

  5. Lego, it's too early to tell although, I am confident that Hronek will work out well for the canucks! Also, there is no guarantee that a 15th-overall pick would have been better than Hronek. This draft should be very interesting to watch, especially if the salary cap goes up by 5 million! This would create a bunch of trades. I guess we can only hope.

  6. Well the islanders are out of the wildcard for now, though they have a game today that I expect they’ll win.

As a red wing fan, hronek was extremely split amongst our fans. I personally hated the guy, others loved him.

The side that hated him cited his dumb decision making while the side that loved him cited advanced analytics.

All in all I am so glad he’s gone.
