  1. I know WE were all choirboys when we were 17 but sometimes teenagers do stupid things.

  2. When are they going to stop rehashing this? The vast majority of hockey fans have no clue that a well known player who played over 1000 games in his career and was a head coach for 9 seasons missed an entire season after being convicted of vehicular homicide while under the influence of alcohol. But this kid who was a minor makes a stupid mistake that is very common amongst teenagers and it is as if he should expect an eternity of punishment. It's absolutely ridiculous. Typical wokeism.

  3. Logan proves himself as human being.
Now he needs to prove himself as player on the next camp for spot. Plus Stephane Robidas is really high on him.

  4. Jr goals? He has a shot most NHLers would love to have. He missed a year + of development. Let him grow and watch what happens

  5. andrew must have an problem with Logan always talking always with his negative play

  6. I think he will play in the NHL I think he will play the habs. He is doing all the right things and owning his decision. I think he needs to develop for the NHL but the potential has there. He can be a very solid 3-4 d man for sure.

  7. Mailloux also wrote  « If I were to ever have the honour of being selected I would want a fanbase to be proud to welcome me to their organization. »

  8. If the NHL allowed him to be drafted, I don't see how they could stop him from having a career.

  9. maybe im just making excuses for my own poor decisions in life but dont we all do stupid things? I think we can move on

  10. This is just insane. There have been worse things NHLers have done with less repercussions. He did the crime and he's done his time. Enough already.

  11. I think Mailloux is a very promising prospect who has an extra hurdle to jump over in order to make the NHL. The Habs have a number of defense prospects and young roster players who have made the case they are can play in NHL regularly. Forgetting about his non-hockey issues, just making the Habs will be a challenge unless he dominates and stands out at the next level. I believe he can dominate in some other leagues but dominating in the AHL will be a real challenge. Its a tough league and hard to score in if you're not a top talent. He can learn defense in the AHL if he is allowed to play there. Whether he can make the Habs is another story. I can see a lot of other teams who would be extremely interested in a player of Mailloux's calibre willing to give a lot. Chicago, Arizona, Anaheim, San Jose & St Louis are all teams who will have well positioned picks in future drafts and currently have decent prospects at various stages of development in the pipeline. If Mailloux can dominate in the AHL but can't displace a roster defender in 24-25 because of where the Habs are in their plan he just might be a valuable trade piece. I like Mailloux as a player, the few clips I've seen of him make him seem like someone who would make some exciting plays and hits. There will be space in 24-25 for him if can prove himself a worthy player of a shot but the NHL still has to allow him to play. Wideman, Edmundson and Savard will gone by then and Matheson will be 2 years older by the end of that season. Displacing Guhle, Barron or Harris will be difficult. Xhekaj brings a different element and Kovacevic will be at his prime then ( not knowing exactly what that looks like but he has improved immensely this season ). That leaves a number 6, 7 & 8 spot open. We can assume Hutson will get a shot at the end of next season if he wants one and leaves school. If Schueneman is still around he will occupy the 7,8 spot and sit most of the time. Will some of the other younger prospects work out? I think Bowey, Leskinen, Allard and Beaudin are gone this summer. Trudeau and Norlinder will stick around and get a shot and so will Fairbrother will as well if he can get healthy. Struble will get a shot at camp and even stick if the Habs can't find a suitable depth defender on the UFA market. There is a bunch of unsigned drafted defenders in the pipeline as well. Mailloux has got hus work cut out for him if he can convince the NHL to let him play. Will Logan Mailloux eventually play for the Canadiens? If he is allowed to play, he will have to prove he can play and make the team.

  12. Don't forget Dougie the diddler Gilmore is in the hall of fame and the president of the Kraken and general manager of the Winnipeg Jets still have their jobs after staying silent for 11years about the Kile Beach rape why are these people still being protected?

  13. His defensive game? That's why the Habs have MSL, Marie-Phillip Poulin,Scott Pellerin, Adam Nicholas, Mario Leblanc, Rob Ramage, Francis Bouillon and many others. If Logan or others are perfect in their game before coming to the Habs. Kent Hughes & jeff Gorton wouldn't need the coaching staff.

  14. Will he play for Les Glorieux???? Logan is huge, tough, can skate, stick-handle and SHOOT THE PUCK! I do7bt he'll spend more than a year in the Manures. He will play for the Big Club and he will be a star!!! There is no reason for the Commissioner to stand in his way.

  15. His biggest issue seems to be hockey IQ. He’s constantly out of position defensively and like mentioned in the video his vision is lacking quite a bit. I wouldn’t mind him as a bottom pairing 2nd power play guy but I can’t see him being much more than that. I cannot see him beating lane Hutson as a power play 1 qb so I’m not sure how valuable he Healy is to the habs.

  16. Face palm @ Andrew Berkshire!

Logan Mailloux doesn't need to become the face of the NHL's "push back" against sexual abuse, any more than O.J. Simpson should become the face of the NFL's "pushback" against violence against women. (If not O.J., insert the name of any of the many NFL players, who have been charged with violence against women.)

Ideally, Logan Mailloux becomes a normal, average NHL player like he would have been if he hadn't made a poor choice in the first place.

I was subscribed to this channel again for about 1 day. Now it's time to unsubscribe again. I'm gone until Berkshire is gone. Good f'n grief! He says stupid s**t every episode!

  17. Lol “third pairing”? What about his game suggests third pairing? His ceiling is top pair, for certain. Whether or not he gets there is yet to be seen, but when I close my eyes and imagine Hutson/Mailloux, Guhle/Barron and Xhakji/Harris, it really puts a smile on my face 🙂

  18. I'm 60 and if my generation of teenage boys had access to cell phones and social media, oh boy.🙄

  19. As a female Habs fan I wasn’t keen on this acquisition. What Mailloux did in Sweden was a super scummy thing to do. He took a compromising photo of this very young woman he was intimate with, then shared it with his teammates on an instant messaging app (ugh). But that wasn’t enough, he had to identify her as well. All of this done without her consent. This went beyond stupid. I can promise you, she will never be the same. Should Mailloux play in the NHL? Perhaps under certain circumstances. In his case, it begins with a heartfelt apology to the victim & making legitimate amends to her. Next comes the work on himself – to be a better human being & teach other young players what NOT to do. Only then would I be okay with him being in the NHL, let alone wear a Canadiens jersey.

  20. You’re gonna tell me the chick who was older than him didn’t see him holding a phone in front of his face while she topped him off? She was tryna get a bag off him, let’s be real here

  21. Trade him to NY, Leafs, Tampa or Arizona and Bettman will give him the ok to play.. then trade again to get it back I guess?

  22. Danny Heatley legit killed his teammate because of reckless driving and got to play. What Logan did was stupid yea but the media makes him out to be some sort of terrible criminal. Which he’s not. More virtue signalling from the media.

  23. Will be a very stout defence in 2-4yrs for the Habs.

Gulhe, Xkekaj, Hutson, Mailloux, Barron, Harris, Trudeau, Kovacevic
