"nobody could have predicted…" my guy, I've been saying for over a decade that if we would just get rid of that dogshit goaltender Tuuka Rask and get some quality in net, we would be very hard to beat. He was always the weak link, and he never showed up for the big games. Just imagine how many cup winning teams we wasted since 2013 because of the front offices undying loyalty to Rask. Finally we got rid of his sorry ass and the results are pretty clear.

Regarding the power play, I'm not fussed. Our 5 on 5 is #1, I'm sure. Penalty kill #1. You can't rely on power plays in the play off's.
