I did not hate that first period. The boys have their legs and are playing hard.
TBH I feel like if we find a way to take Ekholm out of this game it’ll be no different that the last 2 games where we found ways to beat them. And not in a ‘pull out a glock and shoot him’ way, just play in a way that makes him ineffective. It’s a bit of an arm-wavy suggestion but I mean c’mon, how does a single D-man make this big of a difference for one team? Was their D just that dogshit before?
