  1. I feel your frustration on this one, he didn’t start when we beat them earlier this year but they did switch to Vanacek, I’m still proud of our team, and it gives me excitement for next year, Levi is definitely going to take these experiences and have a chip on his shoulder and a mission to get better LETS GO BUFFALO!!! Thank You Sabres

  2. Thanks for dedication Wayne and all the Roam fans here for sticking with the team till the very end.
I have been a fan since 2012 so this is the most excited I have ever been as a Sabres fan.

  3. Gutsy effort despite all our numerous complaints and made a real fight of it. The recent losing streak that included the blowout losses to Dallas and Nashville were just too much to overcome. This is my worry about Granatos soft skinned fire wagon hockey philosophy. It doesn't work if you don't outscore the opponent. The irresistible force almost always loses to the immovable object. But all things considered it's better than we imagined it might be, our disappointment proves how far they went. Next year they'll make us proud. 😉

  4. Devon Levi & Sabres are on the right path I have no doubt, play-offs next year for sure! Great show, and touching ending about your loss, but Sabres future looks bright…

  5. RJ is fine. He’s been with the team the past couple of days. He’s traveled to the games with his grandson. He posted on his ig saying he was there last night

  6. If the Sabres can add a Varlamov then I would move on from UPL. Just adding a experience defenseman to this roster is all I would do outside of letting the youth taking roster spots.

  7. Imagine going 1-7 though that stretch stead of 0-8. Going back and finding all the lost points throughout this season is going to make anyone insane so I suggest nobody do that.

  8. Good season. Boys proved they can beat any team. The early skid the burp before break and home record hurt us. Definitely a positive season though and next season can't get here fast enough.

  9. It's OK, is J.Towes gonna be a Sabre next year, already looking 4 ward Lyndy Lyndy great coach

  10. Sad to see the playoff hopes end especially since Pittsburgh also lost, opening the door up for Buffalo to sneak in if they just won out and the Islanders lose their final game. I am hoping the Islanders make it so Pittsburgh misses out finally. Fun fact: Buffalo was eliminated last season on April 6th, when the Sabres still had 10 more games to play. This year they were eliminated with only two games left, which is outstanding.

  11. Did anyone expect anything else? With 0.500 we cannot expect to suddenly win the last 6 games to 1.00 (and specially not loose to FLA as that was a 4 p game.). But now it is about getting the guys in good mood, and I think that they are, and looking for next season. some long break and a lot of gym please.

  12. Wayne , as disappointing as it is not to make the playoffs, this was one of the most enjoyable seasons to watch in a very long time . The future is really bright and the style of play is really fun to watch. With few strategic moves in the off season next year will be different. I will miss watching this team play .

  13. 1) Great developmental year for the Sabres 2) I'll take Lindy's system over Granato's any day 3) I was wrong- Levi looks amazing 4) I admit more then a few of the Sabres games drove me to tear out my hair (losing to Montreal at home when the playoffs were on the line?) 5) Hoping GM makes the right decisions to make the team better defensively and grittier in the off season 6) RIP Tequila
