I’ve become a huge Tkachuk and Panthers fan this season. Sitting out on Detroit for now since they’re horrible to watch.
I just love how Kadri and Gaudreau both chose their respective teams over the NY Islanders and now look at their situation.

I'm not convinced it's the players. I remember saying when Sutter was hired that I didn't think he was the answer to the Flames' problems. I'm more than convinced now that he's only made the problem worse.

Tkachuk is a goon. He goes around trying to injure other players. There is no way he did not intentionally slice Scheifele's leg on purpose. Dirty crosscheck. Slew foots. You name it. He is out there to put his opponents in the hospital. Lemieux incident in 2016 (?). Davidson's head. His hit on Larsson actually wasn't that bad. Of course, I have to give him credit for points. He's got good hands and he is clearly putting the puck in the net.

Cats fan here – Initially the fan base was hurt because Huberdeau was such a fan favorite. Overtime we've come to really love Tkachuck and everything he brings to our organization!

I give huberdeau a pass, I doubt it was from a lack of effort or a wanting to succeed, things just didn't come together for them. Mistakes were made too, I think Kadri was a huge mistake, he had one really good year on a really good team.

As an outsider, the last few years of the battle of Alberta i was dying to see and definitely wanted to get to a game of but now i could not care less if flames are playing, they are the most lifeless, soft, just one of the worst teams to watch out there right now, absolutely no heart

“It’s Matthew Tkachuk’s team” if he was a true leader tired or not he would of put a effort into that OT play against the leafs he was almost neck and neck with Tavares when Tavares got the puck a older guy and instead he wasn’t playing properly and didn’t even try to contest that was too busy chewing on his mouth guard. My dad as a flames fan was so happy when he got traded and is STILL so happy he got traded that kid can put up points but he doesn’t have that true hockey heart that play alone 100% could of ruined the Panthers chance at the playoffs all it would of taken is pittsburgh winning and there would of been a different narrative to that. All I’m saying is if Panthers had missed everyone would of pointed at that play as the reason and they would of been right he got saved by Chicago. Flames had a bad season every team does maybe Hub doesn’t fit in the Sutter scheme and with a coaching change things would get better but Tkachuk is missing things that likely will take a lot to fix which hopefully will come with age but you never know.
