Jim Montgomery Gives David Krejci, Linus Ullmark Injury Updates

BOSTON, MA — Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery told reporters Wednesday that David Krejci will be ready for the start of the first round of the NHL Playoffs.

Krejci has been out since April 1st after suffering an injury in a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Montgomery also gave updates on Goaltender Linus Ullmark who exited during the 3rd period of Tuesday night’s game against Washington.

“Linus is good today, but we’re going to be precautionary with him and he’s not going to come on the trip,” said Montgomery.

  1. I like the fact that finally the Bruins are gonna have to fly all the way down to Florida to play…and then probably ride the planes consistently throughout the East playoffs. Now….we will see how well they do. Get yo a$$ on the plane. And if their series goes 6 or 7 games…..thatsa alot of air miles……niiiiiice…..

  2. He mentioned lifting guys up and being unselfish, that's a very good point, characteristics that add to a teams chemistry, which the bruins have in spades, also coach has the perfect temperament with his players, much of what makes this the best hockey team ever, is not in the stats, but in the players themselves.

  3. Gotta love Jim Montgomery – a coach and a season for the ages. And hopefully with enough momentum to carry the Bruins all the way through the playoffs to the promised land !

  4. Would prefer if swayman did not play. No need at all for him to go out there and have any chance of injury he is crucial to this teams depth for this upcoming cup run

  5. Call up the kid from providence. No goalie injuries in the last game of the year that means nothing!
