Awesome call by the stewards , the # 1 and 13 were the ones causing all the problems. If anyone noticed Lord Miles Tampa Bay Derby race and realized Tapit Thrice had just one the Bluegrass. Then obviously Lord Miles had a chance.
I had the winner picked last night, ended up hitting a $2 Exacta and a $5 win ticket. But I backed off my $20wp. Ugh

That was rough between Jose, Manny , & Paco. Paco's actually innocent this time. He rode a good race. Hit show got the worst of it. He will win a couple small minor stakes throughout the season

Nice to see Paco Lopez win it, he's a great jockey, this race should have been a mile though, none of these horses are making the mile and a quarter on the first Saturday in may, they barely struggled to make it down a mile and an eighth here. I still think Hit Show is the best horse in that field but a great ride by Paco Lopez and a little trouble for Hit Show and he got the W with Lord Miles.

Horse racing is rigged. I stopped going to the track long time ago. No regrets.
Great finish unfortunate horse in centre got sandwiched .jockeys inside and out had their crops in their incorrect hands ? Think the stewards made right decision very exciting finish

There is no consistency with stewards at any track. Paco wasn't at fault this time. There shouldn't have been a change. Neither Lord Miles or Hit Show are serious contenders for the Kentucky Derby.
Is Manny for real? He better be careful he doesn't get charged for a false objeción and a DQ or ban and fine😂 I hope he apologizes to all concerned when he sees the error of his ways 😂
What a race. I had to watch this one a couple of times to figure out the story! Wow!
NY bred RATS. Paco Lopez could not win a big race if they fed him a head of lettuce and beans before the race.

I always remember the Wood Memorial (when it was a G1) as being the Kentucky Derby prep race in which Secretariat came in 3rd back in 1973 before he crushed the Triple Crown. Meaning that anything can happen in the Wood Memorial (now a G2). Congrats Lord Miles!

Man that head on replay really shows all 3 of those guys slugging. I mean they needed Baseball bats like that old school road rash game.
What a race, epic finish!! As for the inquiry, dq the top 3…nah. Really they were like side drafting each other so it is hard to tell, and you can't blame just one, they were all over the front stretch. Hit Show got the worst of it. It was interesting the footage on the back stretch looked like some bumping there as well, but no call was the best call. And by keeping with that decision, there is no unfair advantage to the 3 horses….winner by a nose in a slow-paced race.

Paco can ride with the best..rough stretch run though, but its a graded race..let them duke it out..Dreamlike, the maiden another great ride by Jose Ortiz but i think he regresses big time off that effort..Lord Miles is by Curlin so he gets street cred for the distance…this Derby has about a dozen horses that are very close to one another but i always like to look at the setup going in to the Derby and am never looking at who ran the latest great race, so i'll be stabbing with some horses under the radar but don't know the field yet..but will be a good betting race because i'm tossing Forte…

Good race by Hit Show but I just can't take anybody seriously out of this race. At least not for the derby anyways.

None of these top 3 will win the KD pace was too slow. I always expect a big price in this race , I actually boxed 1. 13. 7. Left the 8 out , go figure lol
Just Don't See It With Hit Show. Two Back To Back 9f Races He Came Out 1:51 Or Worse. Just Not Fast Enough. Once Again The Wood Memorial Will Not Produce A Kentucky Derby Winner.
Really no loser in the that race between the top 3 that Finnished
should have been a dq. The winner drifted into the gray , knocking him off stride and sandwiching him between the 2 horses without ample clear running space. The gray was the real winner.
