I don’t care what happens tonight, I just hope we all have fun and Hughes gets 3 points and we win!
I’ll be there!
The expected hot weather is screwing up my apparel plans though; I don’t really want to wear a jersey to the game when it’s above 80 degrees F outside (and I tend to sweat easily).
is there anywhere to watch the carolina-florida game?
I say the Capitals play with no players, an empty net, and send their players to Florida to play a 12 v 6 against Carolina to help us win the division and get Jack 100 points
We win the Metro if we gain a point in any way on Carolina so either:
1. Devils win @ Washington AND Canes loss (any loss) @ Florida
2. Devils OT/SO loss @ Washington AND Canes regulation loss @ Florida
It helps that the Islanders won last night because while the Caps have nothing to play for, the Panthers need to win to avoid Boston. Only a win lets them do that, not even an OT/SO loss helps.
Interestingly because the Panthers and Canes are playing each other, the tiebreakers work so that we cannot face the Islanders Round 1. We either get the Rangers in Round 1 as the 2-3 Metro matchup OR the Panthers as the Metro 1 – Wild Card 1 matchup.
Hoping Shango stays on the third, I bet time with Timo brings results. Haula and Lazar are back. Really hating the recent Graves shit takes in the sub, what the fuck are people smoking?! I’m loving Bahl’s emerging greatness, specifically how aggressive and physical he’s becoming.
We won in 2003 with less talent, I know the league is mad different, but still, believing it can happen this year is not out of order. *Fuck brad marchand*
