Wonder what this year’s final game storyline will be. We’ve had debut hat tricks and a 10 goal win before, hopefully at least a Teasdale or Farell goal

Hopefully Went Wughes will make it interesting.
This spring i’ll root for NYI, NYI, EDM, WNG, LAK, COL, NJD, MIN. ( just realized i could have been easier to say everyone except BOS, TBL, CAR, TOR and FLA)

Not that I would root for the Bs, but lets hope that the team breaking the record for most points in any season (including OT wins) does what they’re expected to do against a depleted 5th last position team.
Since the yotes win a tie breaker and are just 1 point up, and they’re playing the Nucks, I don’t trust them not to ruin things.
It was so much less stressful last season when we locked in last spot in game 81, so Carey could go for an incredible last win (and curse the cats in the process, apparently).

On one hand I’m glad because I’m trying to be positive about the next season and want a fresh start but on the other… Damn the months feel long without hockey 😢 by August I’m craving it!

For tonight, hoping for another primary assist for my fav Evans. He may not score a lot of goals but he’s been racking up the assists lately, so much that he’s currently in [16th place in the league for primary assists per 60](https://www.nhl.com/stats/skaters?report=scoringRates&reportType=game&seasonFrom=20222023&seasonTo=20222023&dateFromSeason&gameType=2&filter=gamesPlayed,gte,40&sort=primaryAssistsPer605v5&page=0&pageSize=50).
