The fact that they rec'd anything for Stillman is a huge plus. That they got an actual prospect (likely a bottom six ceiling) is outstanding

I like they are getting big players
Canucks get a two-way bottom 6 prospect who wouldn't have cracked the depth chart behind all the other Sabres forward prospects in exchange for an NHL experienced depth defenseman with physicality. Low risk for both sides and is beneficial for both players involved. Even if Bloom reaches his full potential, this would be a depth-for-depth trade and is equal in value. Let's hope they both find success on their respective teams!
Very slick move by the Canucks management. To get a point per game prospect who will fill the spot of the second round pick they gave up in the dickenson trade while shedding 100% of the cap is genius!! Great move!!
