My girlfriend and I were in the seats in the same row just across the aisle. We also did not win the 50-50. I didn't feel it was ever a good time to come over though. We somehow manage to go to games that you're at very often. This one but also NHL games, this year we saw the same Anaheim game, last year we saw Arizona, and the year before that (I think) the panthers. Each of them you were at 😛 The Abbotsford game was really something else. Lots of energy in that building even without a full house.

Fasching and Engvall have both been good pickups for the Islanders. For perspective, both Fasching & Beauvilier played 49 games for the Islanders this year and Fasching has one less point (19) but one more goal (10) than Beauvilier had, and Beauvilier is being treated like the savior in Vancouver.
How is nobody talking about how insane it is that only one playoff series is locked in right now and it’s game 82?! There’s so many interesting matchups possible, if Vegas loses and Edmonton wins and Seattle wins while LA loses, there’s a chance we get to see a battle between the two latest expansion teams!
The last time the Penguins missed the playoffs I was in pre-school. I am now a junior in college, I’m very happy to see them miss it

The Devils made 22 playoff appearances in 24 seasons obviously not the same as Pittsburghs 16 (or 17 ?)?consecutive years but still pretty impressive Happy to have them, the Islanders and the Rangers in the playoffs this year New York and NJ will be fired up!
Not having Crosby and Ovechkin in the playoffs is definitely the end of an era
Pittsburg is gonna have a interesting summer. is Sullivan on the way out? is Hextall still the man? Most would say that Hextall did poorly, but he did resign Malkin and Letang so i don't know.

The most intense (For me) Islanders game of the season as the playoffs were on the line. The islanders snapped an 0-18 Power Play drought. Thet are in! Now they get to play the steamrolling Boston Bruins. Despite me being an Islander fan I would not be surprised with a 4-0 sweep by the Bruins. A blowout 4-0 sweep. Let's see what we can do! Maybe they can surprise me. Maybe Hell will freeze over.

Brock Nelson my FAvorite Islander led the way over Montreal. I'm just hoping they will play Carolina or Devils instead of Bruins. I think their chances would be vastly better to get into the second round then. I'd rather see them play those teams for Burns or some others. Stars along with CAlgary both won as expected. I think Flames goalie was sorta short like below the cross bar standing up :)? Maybe if they played him sooner they make the Playoffs hehe. I was a bit nervous about Islanders letting Montreal tie up game or win heh. Sorokin was wandering a few times or seemed a bit out of it. When scored the SHG it had me thinking it could get into OT. I fell asleep waiting for the recap so it had me wondering what was taking delay so :).
To have both Pittsburgh and Washington out will be a GOOD thing.
