  1. I'm glad they resigned him. Easily their 2nd best center behind Ek and I don't think the Wild could have found someone better in free agency or trade on a similar deal. I was thinking they could have Rossi center the third line with Beckman/Nyquist and Walker. He won't be playing against the other team's best players and still has some talent to distribute the puck to. Then you create a really good 4th line with Dewar/Freddy/Foligno. There wouldn't be room for Shaw, Duhaime, Steel, and Reavo, but it's not that big of loss. They still got Hartman, Foligno, Ek, and Middleton to deal with the Jets. Or move Rossi to wing with Freddy and Walker. Whatever they do, they got to put Rossi with someone who has skill because putting him with someone like Foligno is hurting his development.
