NICK SUZUKI & CALE FLEURY MADE THE TEAM – Montreal Canadiens / Habs Prospects 2019 (NHL Season News)

The Montreal Canadiens have sent down Ryan Poehling to the Laval Rocket, but have also kept prospects Nick Suzuki and Cale Fleury on the team for the 2019-2020 NHL Season! The Habs preseason has come to an end and these two have made some really good impressions. They did it! They’re in!

  1. Watch nick play while at Owen Sound, he so good with the puck can of like barzal with less skating skill

  2. We shouldn't worry about Poehling. He'll be back soon, Bergevin hinted yesterday that he would do "something". We can expect a minor move to make space.

  3. They should of kept Poehling and wave Reilly or Folin or Thompson

Btw Fleury isnt out of college but CHL

  4. Fleury did everything a bottom pairing defenseman has to do. Solid physically, good quick passes, skates well. He didnt look out of place at all with Kulak.

  5. Nice call on Fleury, I thought that Brooks would make it over him before the pre-season but I was wrong. Cale looked really good except he got he doors blown off a few times which is concerning. Still glad he and Nick made it, Phoeling will be back in a few months like you said. It will just make him hungrier.

  6. I'd like to see Byron traded so cousin can play, don't get ,me wrong I like Byron and all but with the players we have and what's coming up his cap hit isn't really worth keeping imo even if he's a versatile player.

  7. Cale was in the WHL (Kootenay Ice and then Regina Pats) but not the colleges. Poehling will be back up as soon as Berge trade someone (that or injury).

  8. Need to trade Jonathan Duran if he doesn't contribute or produce enough that will make room for Ryan poehling go Habs go

  9. I think the plan is in a few games, Poehling will be called up and if Kotkaniemi didn’t start playing well, he will be the one sent in the AHL.
