    I know exactly what's going through UPLs head. I played goal for many years (abeit not professional) and I've been in the position he is in being replaced from being the "darling goalie" to playing second fiddle. It hurts because as a goalie you want to "be the guy". You don't want to be a backup. But then again Devon is special and if UPL was smart he'd work as hard as he could AND support Levi best he can (if UPL is on the roster next year)

    Keep UPL. We don't need another ULLMARK situation. Too young to judge. UPL in AHL stopping pucks and fleury/Levi combo would be fine by me. Add a Dman, and a guy who can drop the gloves when needed, Let's Ride! #PlayoffTime

    I hope UPL is back next year. He and Levi could push each other and could be a pretty good tandem.

    What I like about UPL is his self-awareness and his desire to be here and what he needs to be “The Man”; this kid has all the physical tools but he just needs to get his head together and get the consistency. I want him and Levi to fight it out next year.

    I think the Sabres as a team began to understand how to play defensively over the last 10 games. I hope UPL is back and the tandem of Levy/UPL or UPL/Levy will be as solid.
