At the World Under-18 Championship Michkov and Bedard finished first and second in tournament scoring, respectively. Michkov’s 16 points were the second-highest total for a 16-year-old ever, behind the 18 points that Alexander Ovechkin (2002) and Mikhail Grigorenko (2011)
