  1. Yes I think Brock should be given another chance but IF they get a decent offer ( a DECENT OFFER ok ?) in the off season they should go for it. And I suppose this all comes down to what everyone's opinion of a decent offer is.

  2. Boeser and Garland are fine imo. The biggest boat anchors on this team are Myers and OEL. Get rid of them and the team would be way better all around.

  3. Patterson, placing 2 coaches dismissals at the feet of one player is the dumbest take I've ever heard. I know you tried to asterisk your comments by qualifying it with "it's not entirely his fault" but then immediately alluded to it being entirely his fault. "What's the common denominator here?". Unacceptable. You owe that man an apology on air.

  4. I really really love Boeser but I think it's time to move on from his contract if someone is willing to pay a 6th or 7th round pick for the contract. Garland looks like a keeper with how he's been able to drive play on his line and provide impact even when not scoring. I pray to the hockey gods that Myers and OEL get better somehow by changing their games over the summer, I'm not taking that contract to help the canucks if I were a gm of another team without taking back a first and/or a top prospect like Klimovich.

  5. Unless you get a true value offer for Boeser he should not go anywhere. Selling low on him would be peak stupidity. This is the Canucks we are talking about, though.

  6. Brock lost the shot due to injury. Yes, I know he has goals which means his stick physically pushed the puck into the net, but that lethal, laser shot from his first couple seasons is long gone. He had a couple injuries in short succession and it was lost then and never came back.

  7. I don't know why I thought players were just paid yearly or something. I guess I just figured the obscenely rich made things more simple for themselves.

  8. They are contractually obligated to give BB a chance and he is here until he is not. They have been trying to trade him all year. His contract , signed by current management, is an albatross, like several other Canucks.

  9. Why is no one talking about Horvat? Heā€™s gone. No longer in leadership. How big a change did that make?

If everyone is healthy in the fall, it will be a very different team than the one that ended the season, even if there are no changes (which we all know, there will be a bunch).
