Emil Heineman Scores Huge Goal (5th)/Cayden Primeau SO in Must Win Game 3-31-23

Emil Heineman picked up his 5th goal in as many games and has been one of Laval’s best players in each of the last 3 games. It’s not just the points, he looks the part with his all round play and the speed is legit. Huge game from Cayden Primeau as not only does he get the W but gets his 2nd shutout of the season and the 10th of his career. I also thought Mattias Norlinder had one of his better games of late as he still struggles at times with some decisions in his own end but he does flash skill from time to time, but like many young players he’s got to find way more consistency.

This was a must win game for Laval if they have any hope of making the playoffs, they are neck and neck for the final spot but the Monsters have 2 games in hand

Primeau – stopped 26 of 26
Heineman – 1 goal, 6 shots, 2 pims, +2
Trudeau – 2 assists, 1 shot, +2
Teasdale – 1 assist, 2 shots, +1

  1. I agree with your take on Heineman. He has gotten better each game and looks like a beast. Trudeau is having a terrific year too and had a strong game. The heat is on Primeau now. Dobes wants to take his spot and Primeau will have a tough battle keeping his net, maybe why he stood on his head and been playing well lately.
Teasdale as well is having a strong year and will push for a role on the team next year.
