They didn’t pick up his 5th year option and that’s why they’re in this situation now
I can only speculate that they have talked n not told the public; JJ is in shape cause he always did that part away from the facilities; JJ has always been cryptic with his social media; the organization is trying to attain the right amount of 💰 ney to make the contract work, we just have to be patient; lastly, this draft will be better than them last 5-10 drafts.

Glad he has some balls and decided to say FUCK YOU to the Raiders. Been a fan longer than most of you have been alive. The team sucks and so does our management. You can pipe dream all you want but JMD is a POS and he is ruining this team along with Zeigler. That is reality whether you want to admit it or mot. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up on the Saints before the season starts. Kamara will not be playing this year if things go bad in court for him in Vegas. Jacobs is one of the best talents we have and our HC and GM are screwing him for no reason but he was not their guy. They didn't draft him and they are getting rid of all of Grudens picks. Crosby may not be here long if they stay as Coach and GM. I know Sanjit you are hopeful for things to get better, but lying to people about the current situation ruins your credibility.
Raider nation needs to face facts. Our owner hired a POS as HC and a POS as GM. Neither are prepared to do their jobs or have the talent needed to be successful. They have ruined our franchise and will continue to do so until fired. I guarantee we will have a worse season than last year. Everything these 2 dipshits have done and are doing is pushing players away. By next season we will be the last place people will want to play for. Only money and our new facilities will entice players to come here. Sadly it might take another decade for this to be fixed. Just letting you all know the truth. Might as well take a season or 2 off, unless you like being a loser.

By getting Jimmy G, they are telling me the offense is going to go through JJ, if we had a franchise QB who was going to carry the team, then I would say don’t pay him, but I don’t think we can be as successful without him in the next couple years

And Jacobs is a young player going into his 5th with 2 pro-bowls, and a NFL award for best RB. You can try to justify not signing him all you want. It just makes you look less intelligent. Jacobs has had no real injuries, and has not lost much time on the field. He is only 25 and has a high ceiling still. He also is a really good pass blocker. You can not just replace this guy with any RB. You always seem to underplay how important a RB is, more than the WR's are. Reality is the league has been shitting on their biggest workhorses for quite sometime. Seems like Gurley screw it up for all the RB's with the Rams.
As a fan I think the players are overpaid to begin with, but understand the need to be paid for the talent you bring to the team. We have the salary cap space, so why not ensure the next couple years? We have too many other positions we need to worry about, there is no sane reason to add another. Especially when it a man with this much talent and upside. Only a fool or an idiot would pass and not sign Jacobs. Since JMD and Zeigler are both anything is possible.

Completely disagree. Aside from Maxx Crosby, the Raiders do NOT value their best pieces. And even When they do, they want to rationalize and make like they are doing the guy a favor. Josh will get paid and deserves to. But will it be for a different team? If youre giving guys like him lipservice, then maybe he needs to go where hes valued. He balled out and virtually CARRIED the team this year, other than DA at clutch times. Theres a low key arrogance to this current regime and I’d hate to play under it. And Im a RN4L all the way back to 82…. Screw this staff. They dont respect anyone but the sound of their own voice. I give them 2 years tops, then they get bounced… then 5 years in identity limbo for the Raiders. RN4L, but I’m a realist.
All these players and teams with massive contracts. Disgusting….. im as good as it gets at the specialty work we do underwater. And its not a job that you work at for more than maybe 25 years. And i dont make squat compared to these guys. Quite frankly I believe they are over paid by a massive amount. My job is every bit or more dangerous. the way I see it, Jacobs should go for a 5 year deal but have it front loaded. Like as much as possible in the signing bonus. That would be great for him because he gets paid without risking injury before he gets his money, it would let raiders avoid a big cap hit and give security. Now you gotta get Davis on board with that since up front money is on him. But I think he would be.
Shame Mcdaniels wasted valuable draft picks on RB last season..oh wait .. looks like a good move in retrospect and maybe people will get off his back now.. or do these critics prefer the old regime of burning draft picks on Lynn Bowden or giving Kenyan Drake $15 million for basically nothing
The NFL is all about paying less to running backs. Some teams are doing running back by the committee. Would not be surprise if Jacobs would be traded during the draft.
The thing with jj is he needs 20 carrierito have a big game wear and tear granted i think hes like emmit smith he has that longevity kind of speed and agility its such a catch 22 because who tf wants to run 20+ times in todays big play league is beyond me. Hes not worth what hes going to demand 🪴👌😎
Josh is one player I support no matter what he decides. He gives 100% always and he's not the kind of player to regress after getting paid. I hope things work out fairly for both sides.
