How is it a good trade when we trade away a guy who scores no less then 30 goals a year and was about to break out for two guys who MIGHT be good. Don't get me wrong Sifverberg reminds me of Alfredson but there's no way of knowing until util right before the Olympics next year.
It is a good trade because Ryan was going to leave anyways. He wanted to leave. So now Ducks got two young promising players and first round draft pick so it was a good trade. And this season Ryan made 13 goals, not 30.
Yeah but he said that Ryan makes 30 goal a year and this year he didn't so that statement wasn't true and I just pointed that out. Even if u count those ten goals that he made when he was playing for Mora IK when they weren't playing NHL this season he didn't make 30 goals.
Dude it was a lockout year so all the stats can be taken with a grain of salt there's no way of knowing if he would have scored two more or 40 more this year which Ryan normally starts lighting it up around February after the all star game. Also the Rocket Richard winner had 32 goals this year.
And no Ryan was not about to leave anyway he had 4 years left then he would have been a UFA honestly if they wanted to trade anyone they should have traded that pice of Swiss cheese known as Jonas Hiller.
32 goals? get off your drugs man…. your off by 17 and why keep a whiner who doesn't like to do dirty work, takes all your money, plays no d, and wants to leave why keep him!

thats true, but you are comparing something that you cant compare.. its like saying savard is a loser because he scored 10 points in last 3 seasons

That's not exactly a Rocket Richard number if you look at the last few years.

Your glad we let go a 30 goal score picked up 2nd overall in 2005 when we still have Swiss cheese in net?
He had two years left in his contract.
20 bucks says in two years he rockets over to the Philadelphia Flyers.

Bobby Ryan is a great talent but did not play 60 mins. Maybe he will be more motivated in Ottawa.
