  1. If I recall correctly, Vegas only had 1 shot on all 3 of their powerplays in total this game

  2. Eichel's soft play along the boards led directly to two of WP's goals, and no hustle on the empty netter. Jack, this isn't peewee anymore! You have to work hard at this level…

  3. Now, the Jets are unlocking what they really they can do. They were paper tiger during regular season, but now they're due for a deep run.

  4. Stone came back way too early.
    Eichel -3. Kept overpassing.
    Pietrangelo had awful turnovers.
Should have played the AHLers that got them the division title in the first place.

  5. Vegas looked uninspired and "non schalant" breaking out of the Def zone. Eichel was apparently excited to finally play in the playoffs but he might well have been on a milk carton. LB was solid. Third period shots on goal said everything about the knights. Kudos to the jets they simply wanted it more.

  6. Baron a dang gladiator in the game. 75 stitches on his face, put a cage on can came back.
Also Brossiot put the puck in the net himself at the end of the 2nd period
It was also pretty sad to see how Vegas just gave up after the empty net goal. Even as a jets fan the final power play wasn’t intended to score really

  7. Potentially the worst play I've seen from the Knights in the postseason in their short history. Kudos to the Jets.

  8. Very boring series. Not interested in seeing either of these teams advance. Luckily the rest of the playoffs have been good.

  9. The Golden Knights played terribly. They had no puck control, constantly dumping it into the zone or turning it over before even getting into the offensive zone. THEN when they could get into the zone, it's like no one wanted to score. They refused to put shots on net.

  10. Jets played a fantastic game. Great discipline, great defense and an always dangerous first line. PLD was great and Connor is starting to pick up the pace. I don't see a recipe for Vegas, nor do they have speed nor do they play an agressive offenive game. Hell, if Bucky keeps the doors shut we might even see a sweep.

  11. "Loud Booing" at the end of the game. True, and that was coming from the maybe 10% of fans that stayed in their seats until the game ended. The once legendary T-Mobile arena, known for its energy and excitement that used to intimidate visiting teams, had tons of empty seats from puck drop which in past seasons rarely was the case – even for a regular season game. And leaving a game early? It just didn't happen. Last night, there was a mass evacuation starting in the middle of the 3rd. Let's spark a conversation and share your thoughts about why the passion for the Knights seems to have dwindled in this city. Is it due to recent team performance or external factors? And keep in mind, although there may be fair-weather fans, we're talking about a team that won the west and the pacific so the "weather" isn't too bad in Vegas 🙂

  12. Hopefully eichel has some fire in him for his first time in playoffs because he had an awful game last night

  13. Is it lost on everyone what kind of year Boston had AFTER getting rid of Cassidy? The Vegas PP has been bad for the last half of the year; shouldn't the coaching staff be trying something, anything different than the same old setup?

  14. Winnipeg didn't knock in the puck in the net. It was the Vegas player who did it which is kind of funny

  15. Yvonne must have been overjoyed with the win? Shannon probably said to himself, "Yes, Jets Win! Happy Wife, Happy Life"!"

  16. No one should be surprised with what the Jets did. Rick Bowness did the same thing with the Dallas Stars 3 years ago. Hellebuyck looks like one of the best goalies in the early going so far. If he stays hot, which he's very capable of doing, then the Jets can win this series.

  17. Wpg was long overdue for a historic win against Vegas .They lost all 3 regular season games vs Vegas . Does lighting strike twice for Wpg in the same spot ? NO ! Many believe this will be a much different Vegas team for the rest this series. . Surprisingly all the home teams lost game 1 . A rare event goes to prove you can not take the night off in the N H L playoff's now .

  18. Winnipeg played the same way against the Predators week before last when they needed the win. It was just suffocating defense. Can they keep this up?

  19. Amazing play from the Jets. I admit I didn't give them much of a chance in this one, but if they keep playing like this I might have to eat my words

  20. I am happy, I have been earning almost $25,000 on my investment of $5,000 every 10 days, God bless Frank M. Acosta. All thanks to my friend for introducing me.

  21. The refs sucked but in no way had any impact on the outcome. The vgk played like ass and the jets were amazing! I am Vegas fan and we were out matched and Stone looked like he was in slow motion lol. I got to go to the game and see Winnipeg just mop the ice with my boys, but it is far from over, go knights!
