I know we weren’t expected to play as well as we did, and I know that the Avs had some struggles, one player being deemed injured right before the game and two guys just coming off IR, but I’m so tired of seeing articles saying the Avs didn’t try enough, or pissed the game away.
The kraken came in, played arguably the best game of hockey we’ve seen them play, executed their game plan of high pace, keeping the Avs to the outside etc perfectly. We controlled the match. Even MacKinnon said they just couldn’t find an answer for our game plan.

Just because the uniform is new to the NHL playoffs, doesn’t mean the players are new. Most of these players have experience with the post season.
