You know Razor said, “Let me do a really stupid pose.”

I believe if you search the bio in this program you may find somewhere Tom Hicks. And loaded in his bio is one of his accolades for winning father of the year. Fun facts.

I’ve always been under the impression that razor has a huge ego

When Razor was first hired I was like 14 years old, I played in a NHL sponsored inline hockey tournament in ‘95 that was hosted outdoors in the parking lot of what was then Incredible Universe, later becoming a Fry’s off Northwest Highway.

We did terrible but I was a young goalie and he had just recently been hired and hadn’t even called his first game yet. I found out he was a former NHL goalie and basically spent the rest of that weekend when I wasn’t playing following him all over that place like a puppy asking him every question I could think of and helping him hand out bracelets.

He was very patient with me and they had these little side activities going on so at one point I was doing this between the pipes event and he passed by and took the time to stop and grab a stick and take some shots on me.

I played that tourney again a couple years later in ‘97 and while I was waiting for my line to go back on I feel a tap on the shoulder and it was him calling me by name asking me how I was doing. I couldn’t believe he remembered me.

Razor is a class act all the way and I’ve never forgotten it, nor have I stopped playing. I may not be a pro, but I’m always cognizant of the impact we can make on the kids who look up to us when they see us wearing the gear.

I really liked it when the site had the division standings on the home page.
