Start Schmid. I love Vanecek but his head isnt in it. Schmid has been a great call up all year. Went on a 20 game win streak last year in Utica, has played in playoff games. He has the experience and he can be our Matt Murray / Binnington this playoff run. I have a good feeling about that kid going on a hot run
1 loss to a rival , no biggie. If we lose 2 in a row then its a problem but we can still come back from. I know my grandfather is happy either way, he liked both teams while he was alive. Me though I'm a Devils fan 100% of the way cause of him. When we lived in NY, he would take me to Utica Devil games all the time in the 80s. Was so fucking cool seeing the young guys up close and then later on seeing them on TV with the NHL club.
lets keep hoping Palat shows up and while we're hoping lets saddle the 2 most skilled players with him on their line. . Come on Lindy this is contract over merit.
