The Zadorov Stetcher pairing was incredible down the stretch…putting pucks in the net with limited ice time was icing on the cake.

He was demonstrably better as a 5/6/7 option than Gilbert, or Mackey, or Stone, or Disimone.
Feels like the only thing holding a Stecher extension back is the salary cap situation at this point.

Considering how many strikes Calgary has against it right now (old arena, sour puss coach, many star team members want to leave, no GM, etc etc.) Having a player who fit in as well as Stetcher did and who ACTUALLY WANTS TO BE HERE, we would be very remiss if we didn’t keep him.
