Thank God for Shannon. He always has really solid level-headed takes and you can tell he watches a lot of hockey games. He’s 100% right, I know the atmosphere has been up and down for Blues fans this year… but in general things are looking pretty okay for the future. We’ll see how it works out but we could be doing a whole lot worse. We’ll have to see how the coaching shuffle works out imo.

DA did really well at the deadline. Getting three good middle-six players on top of the draft picks really solidified the roster for next year. I think he needs to add a couple above avg penalty killers to the 3rd/4th line and if he has to, I would be okay with packaging one of the late 1st round picks to clear space on defense.
