The Zegras Stecher Situation…



There was an interesting situation during Saturday’s game between the Anaheim Ducks and Arizona Coyotes on Jan. 28th, 2023. Troy Stecher got very heated by something allegedly said by Trevor Zegras. We’ll recap the conversation between Zegras & Stecher, look at some lip reading, and more in this video!

    I totally agree with you, People should really stop speculating. At the end I'm sure we will never truly know what happened. I was at the game tho and the coyotes were arguing with the refs for quite a while and were really heated. Anyways I LOVE UNCLE GIBBY!!!!!!!!!

    Sorry im late but there was mentions of Z saying smth about stretchers wife. There was a clip of stretcher talking to the team saying smth along the lines of “he said something about her!” Or “he said something about my wife!”
    So that could be another possibility. (Not defending anyone here, just adding to the conversation)

    Z's job is to jaw and make plays when he's out there. If it comes to fighting then Z will bow out and let Carrick or Comtois handle it. Clearly he has a way of getting in player's heads so I say keep it up.

    Zegras put a crosscheck on a player that went down on the ice due to a high stick. He is a little punk and it will catch up to him sooner rather than later. The other Ducks players are not going to keep sticking up for him if he acts that way.

    I don't think Zegras said something about Stetchers dad. But he clearly said something more than your standard hockey chirp.

    Zegras talks a lot. I don't think he needs to be 'provoked' into talking shit. He's going to have to get a hold on that, before he says something to the wrong guy, when the refs aren't there to protect him.

    If he made a player like Stetcher, who has been level headed his entire career, get that mad? Imagine if he mouthed off that way to a guy like Reaves. He'd get rag dolled harder than Tkachuk. And the Ducks don't have any 'tough guys' on the roster right now. He'd be toast. So, he should take this moment as a lesson to keep his mouth shut a bit more. Especially when he's the reason the scrum even starts.

    Love your video……Z is young and needs alot of mature and learning. 21 years of age is young in Hockey World/Sports World so as old saying goes "Gotta alot to learn.
