One thing I've learned about the Oilers is they complain about the Refs more than any other team in all of hockey. If you ask the Oilers, they have never actually lost a game.

But since you didn’t see it your coach believes Connor over video. That just shows your mindset. Facts are facts, Toronto reviewed it what else. And the only reason they reviewed it was because a player raised his hand. Not one official on or off ice is going with connors hand raise. Players raise their hand all the time and are wrong. Video is not.
the sweep begins for the Kings…you can't win games taking undisciplined penalties "Draisaitl"…put that humongous ego aside and quit being selfish…besides, the ref's are a biased lot…the Oilers are done!

I know people are gonna comment on this with "Drai cost us the game with that penalty" as if it somehow negates the bullshit calls, and honestly that's a pretty reductive take if you ask me. It could have gone either or. They also could have bounced back and gotten two more goals. As evidenced by Wednesday's game.
Also, I've seen far worse happen in previous games and none of the refs bat an eyelash. That was an even worse call than the "slash".
As a Kings fan I wasn't a fan of the officiating either from my admittedly Homer perspective both Nurse and Kane deserved major penalties for their attempts at injuring Arvidson and Doughty respectively which from my accounting is the 9th and 10th time in the last 2 months or so that LA could or should have been awarded a major/match PP and weren't it has been frustrating to see players get hurt sans proper officiating but it happens can't dwell on it LA needs 2 more if they are physical and stay hitting they stand a good chance but all things considered these have been 3 fantastic hockey games here's to Matt Roy being the most underrated player in the game

LA not playing hockey coz they know they cannot beat you guys so they enrolled for acting workshop for only a couple of days to see if it’s going to work And so far , refs are buying it. GoOilers Play hockey be the most disciplined team Coz most of them (LA) not playing hockey anymore😂. More on facial expressions.. 😂😂😂
It's OKEY boys…There is always a bad and GOOD Karma…Just re-group, IGNORE the Refs…Play Hard Boys…And NO MORE bad Penalties. And much better have a Discipline play in entire 60 minutes….OILERS in 6. 👍👍👍💪💪💪💥
This is the 3rd game out of 3 where the Oilers have outplayed LA for the majority of the game, yet they have lost 2 of the three games. Oilers had the lead in ALL 3 games. Its a bad omen to keep losing games in which you have the lead. It ain't the reffing, its the Oilers repeated refusal to play disciplined – especially after they get the lead. The Draisaitl and overtime penalties were stupid, not to mention Ceci letting Kempe get behind him – its like football defense, you NEVER let a receiver get behind you…its usually fatal.
the reffing is very bizarrre in this series so far, to say the least. is this playoff hockey, regular season hockey, or something else? i can't really tell honestly, just make the same calls both ways.
