  1. I never really liked Jason. Not enough heart for me. Seems very flat and seems to get down on himself. Cant get the mojo in the right direction. Yet then again, if I was getting my ass handed to me, I wouldn't be feeling very great either.

  2. This is what happens when your Captain refuses to lead, when your entire team won't stand up for each other, and your goalie keeps letting in soft goals. Sit Benn down and show him some videos of Hatcher and Morrow. Show him what he needs to do when a team targets your best players. If Dallas is going to win, Benn needs to start hitting. Hard. Tell him to stop being so baby shit soft.

  3. It really shocks me how little faith the media and broader NHL fan base seemed to have in the Wild going into this series. It was only a game or two separating these two teams, and hence doesn't remotely surprise me that this is a really tight series. I think part of it is that everyone seemed to have a hero-worship mentality with Oettinger, but come game 1 the Wild showed that in a straight goalie duel, Gustavson is the better goalie. If the Wild can learn from Game 2 and stick with Gustavson, I honestly think the Stars could have a very very bad time.

  4. We shouldn't have cried and belly ached about the questionable hit in the first game and played griddy hockey! The game is played differently in the playoffs. Playoffs isn't for cry babies!! Now, were plaing from behind.

  5. Last nights effort or lack thereof was embarrassing and unacceptable especially in the playoffs. That was the Stars team from the regular season that started slow and looked uninspired and as a result got bullied and run over by a more focused and determined team. Robertson has been literally invisible and his body language has shown he's frustrated and not on his game. The Stars blue line issues are now magnified in the post season. Miro and Esa are the ONLY quality defenseman they have…..Suter, Hack-a-paw and Miller shouldn't even be in the league imo. Waaaay too many give aways and incompetent play by those guys. Lastly everyone seems to be ignoring or simply giving a pass to Otter. He is NOT the same guy from last post season and in fact he's not been dominant since coming back from injury. Just look at the numbers…. they don't lie. He's not tracking pucks well at all and he can't stop breakaways to save his life. He's the biggest reason for their OT losses this year. His deficiencies and those of the defenseman not named Esa or Miro are combining to destroy any chance the Stars have at a deep playoff run. BIG changes need to be made at the blue line in the off season. Stars are in a must win situation heading into Sunday. Minnesota is physically dominating them and shutting down their Stars and minus Pavs that's a death sentance.

  6. Dallas had a completely charmed reg season injurywise.Meanwhile, the 2 teams that battled them for the central overcame signifigant adversity,& injuries. Minny lost Kaprizov for a good chunk,& had a lot hit their blueline. And my Avs had far more injury issues than even Minny-the most injured deffending champ in like 3 decades-like 500 some lost man games vs Dallas who had like 80. Stars shouldve been ashamed for not locking down the central long ago.

Thats 1 reason I picked Minny to upset them. Now Pavelski gets concussed-I feel bad for him,& never pull for opposing injuries-even on teams I hate. But sometimes when teams have totally charmed reg seasons-the hockey gods "even it up" a bit in the playoffs. Not always-but Dallas just didnt have to deal with remotely the same adversity its division rivals did-so itll be interesting to see if they can now. As good as Pavelski is,hes a drop in the bucket of the injuries Minny-& especially Colorado dealt with.

And best paet of this series so far,is Marchment-1 of the dirtiest,& cheapest punks in the nhl-missing the open net in OT of game 1,& having to live with it-after Minny won in OT. Couldnt happen to a more deserving cheap punk. I hate both teams,so it sucks 1 has to win. But its also awesome that somebody will have to be 1 & done.
