Refs 2 oilers 1 in a 7 game series.
NHL has become about getting, and the refs are being told how to call the game based on up to the minute betting information.

The refs have been absolute garbage all series long. Weak calls against the Oilers, missed calls against the Kings. Its been one sided and nobody can convince me otherwise. Penalties are 15-8 for the Kings, theres no way the refs arent biased in this series.
If Mcdavid kept playing hockey, instead of playing Ref, maybe he could have prevented the goal…

Stupid penalties the Oilers are taking are what's helping the Kings. Toronto and Edmonton win when staying out of the box.

They call holding on kostin and nothing when mcdavid get hold could of been the game winning goal for the oilers
I know its all rumors until it happens and that every team talks to every other team about all their assets at some point, but I distinctly recall reading articles about Oilers being interested in Korpisalo a season or two ago when he was in that rough, rough patch and they almost could have just taken him for free as the market had pretty much decided Korpisalo was washed up.
Always interesting to think about those kinds of hypotheticals.
I don't feel sorry for the oilers, they deserved that. If your relying on a high stick to swing the score your way that's something to be aware off. The oilers can only blame themselves.
Oilers are consistently bullying the Kings up and down the ice, sometimes it seems like any way the Kings turn there's 3 more guys in Oilers jerseys standing there. But Korpi is buying his team just enough time to wait patiently for the Oilers to dismantle themselves, then they hop on the opportunity. Don't care for either team but It's been a ton of fun to watch this series!
Hopefully Kings can get Fiala back in this series.
