  1. I’m a Leafs fan, and y’all are probably wondering what I’m doing here, but I wanted to say that I have nothing but love for Tampa. Definitely my #2 team. I follow both teams closely and cheer for both throughout the season. I’m also subscribed and watch all of these Lightning recaps 😅 Vasy’s my favorite goalie in the league and I love most of the other players too, so I’m torn throughout this series. And I’m super glad that Point’s okay after that awkward hit into the boards. Good luck to y’all. This has been a very entertaining series so far!

  2. If you watch the game, listen to it. Rielly got a penalty on that play, it just wasn't a major. Check the game sheet.

  3. You can bitch about the No Goal… Should the Ref have blown the whistle… no. Did he yes and its the right call. As for the hit on Point. Clean hit. Shoulder on shoulder. Totally right call after review.

  4. The 4th Tampa goal was not a goal. The puck was literally under Samsonov, the ref lost site of it and blew the whistle before Point banged it in. Pretty simple.
As for the Reilly hit, that was NOT boarding at all. It was 2 guys going for the puck with Point falling awkwardly into the boards, but not boarding.

The Leafs stole this one tonight as they took the entire 2nd period off. But that happens sometimes, especially to the better team which the Leafs are.

  5. You guys outplayed us I'll admit but we won and that's what matters we got what you guys have had for the last 3 years

  6. Lots of bolts fans crying. You had plenty of chances to put this game away… Then blew it with a minute left.. take the L

  7. point has to just let the puck drop completely, if you want a goal you. cant spear the pad then poke it in

  8. Hey from Toronto. This series is wild. Cool vid but I got some notes on a few things you said in the video.

It’s the same thing as when Nashville I believe scored vs the pens in game 6 of the final. It’s no goal since the play was blown dead, doesn’t matter where the puck is or if it’s playable or not.

In regards to the rielly hit, it looks way worse in full speed. Slow it down and you see point I think tries to get his outer skate ready to play the puck which ends up tripping himself forward, rielly was going in for a board battle and with both going at speed that wasn’t gonna end well.

Toronto got the power play because of kucherov tackling rielly (roughing), the other pens on the play cancel out.

  9. 2 players fighting for the puck, and you can clearly see Point lose an edge. You can also see that Rielly doesn't take him into the boards, but instead takes his body off of Point as they're heading into the boards.

  10. I get that you’re a Tampa fan but can you recognize that Point was already stumbling and had lost balance on his own? Rielly did not expect him to be in that position and has no history of dirty play. Just take it easy on Morgan, he is nothing like Bunting

  11. Leaf fan here. Very lucky win for the Leafs. Tampa outplayed us majority of the game. Samsonov was horrific in the first and redeemed himself later. Officiation continues to be head scratchingly bad. I don't think Rielly leaning on Point was a penalty. Point was fighting for position with Reilly and preoccupied trying to play the puck with his right foot and that set him off balance in a terrible position. Definitely not a malicious hit, Reilly is not that kind of player. Glad Point's OK, thought it would be much worse. Should continue to be really entertaining.

  12. Reilly did not hit point. Im sick of hearing this. If reilly doesny make that play, what else does he do? Let him pass by? He tripped. Watch it again. Reilly is not a dirty player. Cooper didnt even challenge it.

  13. Why are Tampa fans so butt-hurt about the no-call? It was not boarding, you guys are just reaching.

  14. Thankful to see there are some humble Leafs fans out there that actually exist.

  15. The goal that was waved off is no one's fault. Puck dropped down in Samsonov's pads, refs lose sight of it and whistles the play dead as they should. Had they known the puck was free, they obviously would have let play continue. That's just bad luck. Rielly didn't push Point either. They were fighting for position and Rielly did get his arms up but Point fell if anything. Rielly isn't a dirty player and refs even reviewed it for a major. The fact they didn't even see a minor penalty is supports this. With all that being said, the Leafs didn't deserve to win this game and were lucky that Sammy kept them in it until the OT winner.

  16. No was a good play, stammer should have got an extra 2 for instigate

  17. Do Toronto fans not have a youtube channel to go to 😂 why are they in here

  18. Rielly (Clean Honorable Player) made initial contact 15 feet from boards inside faceoff circle. Tampa got screwed on loose puck goal, but I'll take the win. Hello from London, Ontario Canada

  19. Toronto played like shit and the bolts were on it. Yet the Bolts still took an L. Not a good sign. Oh and also they called Rielly for 2 mins when they review a 5 min major then can uphold it or downgrade it to a 2 but not wipe it out completely. But you Floridians don’t know squat about hockey so I’ll gladly school all y’all

  20. When pointer left my heart dropped, I for sure he broke a rib but he was back an I was thrilled but then they give the leafs a PP.. It makes no sense Reilly pushed him into the board..also I've never seen stammer that mad.

  21. First, I hope Point is "ok". That was scary/brutal. I also can't believe the ref whistled the play dead when the puck was still active on Point's "no goal", very quick whistle by the ref. Nice to see Heddy back, definitely made a huge difference in the Bolts overall play. Hagel had a great game, love that goal by Raddysh. Not impressed with Cole's defensive game, he seems to have a tough time making a decision at times. I know he is no McDonagh but come on. You can't be so focused on the pass that you leave a golden road open for the puck carrier. Take out the puck carrier. Lightning definitely gave this game away at the end, sucks. GO BOLTS!

  22. Your boys had ours hemmed in our zone most of the night. Championship pedigree. So glad we somehow pulled it out to regain home ice. Can't wait for Monday. Let's go! What a match up.

  23. haha – no penalty on Point? Are you kidding? That was the right call. Also, the ref blew the play dead, then the puck was pushed in… both the right calls actually. Yes the Lightning played well enough to win, but they didn't

  24. Not a penalty. Unfortunate that Point was injured. In the NHL, two players fighting for the puck and pushing is legal. Reilly did not hit Point and did not push Point on the numbers or use his stick for crosschecking. Two years ago, Cory Perry hit John Tavares in the 1st game of the 1st round and Tavares was taken out on a stretcher and did not play the remainder the series. No penalty, not even reviewed or considered. It's a dangerous game.
