The urgency the Edmonton Oilers under took was immensely high in the third and they worked really hard to try to come back with their top players, playing a large amount of time on the ice and some players not even getting to play a second. Which was desharnais and kostin. Woodcroft played his best players for the best odds and it worked! The oilers came back and won in OT
A good goaltending tandem? – What a load of sh*t Woodcroft. You damn near ended the Oiler's playoff hopes and your coaching career by starting Skinner again, stop with the BS already.
These are the moments that matter in life. When we reflect on ourselves personally and wallow in our struggle these are the reflections that can give us the boost to keep us moving forward. It's these moments that as a father I can show to my kids that demonstrate the power of belief and the importance to not give up and to push harder even when the cards are stacked against you. Like a lot of communities that are suffering with "hopelessness" and Edmonton being no exception this is a message that is needed to hopefully shift the momentum in a positive direction for the community as a whole.
