Sure seemed like he was injured.
But everyone was saying that he died on the ice because of a terrible malicious play by Morgan…. that he didnt play the rest of the game(it was his ghost) and that he would be out for the next 3 weeks?…

After watching what happened…
Yes, he went into the boards HARD.
Point saw the refs not calling a penalty on the play, while skating to the bench. The second fall where he grabbed his chest was as clear of a dive as I’ve ever seen in hockey. It was close to as bad as you see in soccer.
In order to attempt to SELL the major call, he immediately goes to the dressing room. The moment it was known that Morgan wasn’t getting a call, he comes back to the bench and plays like nothing happened.
Cooper here is trying to sell a call tonight with this statement.

He miraculously healed just moments after they reversed the 5-minute boarding major. The guy was back on the ice before Auston or ROR were.
I think Point went down and was in a lot of discomfort.. but it obviously didn’t end up being a serious injury, thankfully. Their team was obviously fired up about it but I think it’s time for both sides to move on.
Cross check to the ribs first shift will fix that
He could have legitimately hurt his ribs and be playing through it with some pain meds.
